As an AI Media Ethics Trainer, I spend my days evaluating machine learning outputs, fact-checking models, and refining prompt architecture. I wanted to put those skills into practice, by building this site. But I was looking for a technical challenge.
This website was pair-programmed using a large language model (LLM). However, it was only used when neccessary. Instead of using a drag-and-drop website builder, I collaborated directly with Gemini and used the book HTML and CSS: Design and Build Websites by Jon Duckett to craft this project. I used AI for any JavaScript implementation, debugging, and creating the digital marquee seen on each and every screen.
I provided all of the creative direction, the specific Y2K design rules, and the professional context. I truly used it as a tool to incorporate items into this project that were out of my scope only.
